Thématiques de recherche

Considering the fact that human performance requires an optimum levels of alertness, motivation and productivity. It is highly important to look for an achievable strategy, compatible with individual cases, human cognitive and physiological functions, work schedule and athletic performance. Here we suggest that napping is a potential strategy that ensures better cognitive, physiological and physical performances, and more importantly that overcomes the post lunch phase. The aim of my PhD research work is to investigate the effects of short day-time naps on healthy individual’s alertness and performance with the aim to maximize the potential application in real-life situations, rather than the effects of napping on population suffering from chronic sleep disorder.
